These terms govern your use of builtforeurope.org and any purchase you make from Built for Europe (BFE), operated by Levi Goncalves, sole proprietor, Brockton, Massachusetts, United States.

Acceptance

By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Orders and payment

Product listings are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. A contract is formed when we accept your order and send an order confirmation. Checkout and payment are processed by Stripe, our payment provider; we do not store your card details. Prices are shown in USD and include applicable taxes where required; any taxes, duties, or fees calculated at checkout are shown before you pay.

Availability

Products marked "coming soon" cannot be ordered. If an ordered item becomes unavailable after your order, we will contact you and refund in full.

Shipping and risk

Orders are fulfilled from France from 31 August 2026 to France, the European Union, and the United States. For consumers, risk passes on delivery to you or a carrier you appointed. See the Shipping page for processing and transit times.

Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU have 14 calendar days from delivery to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. Personalised products and sealed hygiene products that have been unsealed are exempt where the law allows. See the Returns page for how to exercise this right.

Customs and import charges

For deliveries outside the shipping origin's customs union, import VAT or duties may be charged on delivery and are the customer's responsibility unless collected at checkout.

Warranty and conformity

Statutory rights for defective or non-conforming goods apply and are not limited by these terms. EU consumers have a two-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery.

Reviews and user content

Reviews may only be submitted by verified buyers. You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a non-exclusive right to display it on the site. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or misleading.

Intellectual property

The Built for Europe name, logo, designs, photography, and site content are owned by us and may not be reproduced commercially without written permission.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, gross negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence, which continue to apply if you are a consumer in the EU. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
